Ho Chi Minh

Our journey ends (almost) in the biggest city of Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh city or Saigon. We thought Hanoi was hectic - well, that turns out to be a town village compared to this 8 million people city. After arrival we hiked around in the Dong Khoi area a bit, near famous spots as the Rex hotel, the old Post office, the Ho Chi Minh statue and the Cathedral. The next day, we set out to see the extensive Vietcong tunnel network at Cu Chi, quite impressive. Later that day, we went back downtown and took the elevator up to the 49th floor of the Bitexco tower building to the Saigon Skydeck, to see quite literally how huge this city is.
