Portrait taken in the Egyptian Sinai of two of the Bedouins that were guiding us through the desert. Shot in early morning while these men were preparing our breakfast. Sleeping in the desert was a unique experience.

Sanne at the entrance of a cave in the Egyptian Sinai desert, early in the morning. We hiked up here after spending the night in the desert – a unique experience in itself.

After the “Gates of Ibn-Tulun”, here’s the “Light of Ibn-Tulun” (from the same mosque in Cairo of course). With the risk of repeating on the same theme here, but I just absolutely adored this empty and moody historical place in the middle of the most chaotic city of Egypt.

For the EXIF lovers: it’s 2500 ISO I just love the 5DmkII …

This image was created in the mosque of Ibn-Tulun in Cairo, during a beautiful sunny day last December. No one else was there, it’s a unique place.
